Packaging Tips You Can Use!
Here are some helpful packaging tips brought to you by your friends at The UPS Store located at Upper Oakville Shopping Centre.
1. Plan ahead and ship early! You will have a wider range of courier options to help your Package arrive on time, intact, and without hurting the pocketbook.
2. Need to get it there quickly, or have a fragile item? Consider using air service over ground. Shipping a less fragile item or have you shopped early this year? Ground delivery service may be the right option for you.
3. Pick Your Packaging Properly! Your choice in packaging may also determine whether or not your Package arrives intact, or even arrives. Use strong, ideally new, corrugate boxes to house your Package Cushion & protect your Package while in transit with proper packaging as Styrofoam or packaging peanuts. To get it there in one piece, packaging tape will keep the box closed and the contents secure. All of these supplies are available at our store location.
4. Shipping outside of Canada? Your paperwork could determine whether your or not your Package arrives in time. Every country will have unique customs requirements for your Package to cross its border. Sending Company Products? Electronics? Clothing? Books? Each of these items also have specific customs and packaging requirements.
